Koirikawa Kashima Festival

Category: Taiko-Furyū and Matsuri-Bayashi
The Matsuri-Bayashi is performed at the folkloric ritual of Kashima Festival, which is practiced here after the rice-planting. A yatai float, Kashima-Fune, with a doll on it goes around the community and is put into the sea together with the yatai float. Music is played only with drums and Japanese flutes.
