Even though the origin of this bangaku is unclear, there is a saying that it was started by the Miura family, who ruled this area from Sannai Castle in the 14th and 15th centuries. The movements are generally energetic and have jumps. Musicians include drummers, singers, and a rhythm keeper who uses clappers and hand cymbals.
