The origin of Kami-Isagosawa Bangaku is unclear, but it is said that it was practiced already in the 17th century. It is also said that this bangaku belongs to the same group as Nekko Bangaku of former Ani Town. The rhythm is generally fast, and the dance is brave and powerful. Music is played by Japanese flutes, drums, hand gongs, and wooden clappers.
